Little League is a wonderful opportunity to introduce new players to the game and, often, their passion will flourish under the official Little League umbrella.    Teams are usually offered for ages 4-14.    Batter up!

If are you new to the sport, here's some information that might be helpful:
Little League "memberships" are based on your home address, however some exceptions can be made, so contact your local organization.
Little League team fees are lower, usually under $100-$200, but do not cover personal equipment, though they often has some to share.  
LL registration can start as early as January/February, so start checking your local organizations homepage for dates.
